Resort Feature
A Historic Resort Full of Charm
Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort boasts over 50 years of history. “Moiwa” means “small mountain” in the Ainu language. True to its name, the resort is compact with just three lifts, yet it’s brimming with appeal.
Located closest to the ocean among the Niseko resorts, Moiwa enjoys the area’s heaviest snowfall and some of its finest snow quality. With breathtaking views of Mount Yotei and consistently creamy powder, Niseko Moiwa Ski Resort never fails to enchant its visitors.
Endless Possibilities Await
Niseko Moiwa offers not only deep powder but also well-groomed runs and varied terrain. Two gates at the summit provide access to the backcountry area — please be sure to follow the official Niseko Rules when skiing off-piste.
From March, snow parks open on both the forest and expert runs. Enjoy pristine powder early in the season and park riding toward the end — Niseko Moiwa delivers the best of both worlds.
